Interpret the result

Larger units with a value of zero are left out of that presentation, while seconds appear when no larger unit is present.
Read the number together with the destination unit you selected. A value expressed in minutes has a different numerical scale from a value expressed in seconds, even though both can describe the same underlying duration. The fixed scales matter for month and year selections because those choices represent fixed durations rather than variable calendar periods.
