Getting started
What is SmartPlusLab, and is it free?
SmartPlusLab is a collection of online utilities for text, files, images, code, calculations, and everyday tasks. You can use public tools for free without an account, subject to the current usage limits.
How do I find the right tool?
Open the tool catalog and search by task or browse a category. Each tool page explains its inputs, output, instructions, examples, privacy notes, and tool-specific restrictions.
Do I need an account to use SmartPlusLab?
No. Guests can run public tools without signing in. A free account increases the shared daily allowance and adds usage and saved-result history for supported outputs.
Can I use SmartPlusLab on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Public pages and tool controls are responsive and work on current mobile browsers. Large files and complex outputs can still be easier to review on a larger screen.
Which browsers and languages are supported?
Use a current version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. SmartPlusLab is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, European Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Turkish, Russian, and Armenian; use the language menu to switch to the equivalent page.
02
Files & privacy
Where are files and tool inputs processed?
All current public tool runs are submitted to the SmartPlusLab server for processing. SmartPlusLab does not currently label any public tool as guaranteed to run only in your browser.
Are uploaded files stored, and can other users access them?
Uploads are read for the requested operation and are not added to the public media library. Some media tools use process-scoped temporary files that are removed when processing finishes; other users do not receive a public URL to your upload.
Are my files or inputs used for analytics?
Tool inputs, uploaded files, and result contents are not sent as analytics event data. Optional analytics loads only after consent, and form fields and tool-result areas are masked from Yandex Metrica session replay.
Should I upload confidential or sensitive information?
Do not submit secrets, passwords, access tokens, payment details, or information you are not entitled to process. Use anonymized samples when testing a workflow, especially for a custom integration request.
How can I check how a specific tool handles data?
Read the privacy note, accepted input fields, and limits on that tool's page before running it. The Privacy Policy explains site-wide handling; if a tool depends on a server or external network request, its result can also depend on that service or target.
03
Usage limits
What are the current daily usage limits?
Guests currently receive 5 shared tool runs per day, and registered free users receive 25. Daily allowances reset at 00:00 UTC; individual tools may also have their own per-tool limit.
What is the maximum supported file size?
The current guest and registered free file-size allowance is 10 MB per file. A tool may apply a smaller format, dimension, pixel, duration, or combined-input limit when its processing needs stricter safeguards.
Are batch-processing limits different?
Yes. Batch size is an entitlement separate from file size and daily runs. The current free allowance is 1 item per batch, except tools that inherently require more than one input, such as a two-file comparison or merge.
Why did I reach a usage-limit message?
A completed run uses both the relevant tool allowance and the shared daily allowance. Invalid input and failed processing are released instead of being counted; the message shows the limit that was reached and the next UTC reset.
Where can I see the current limits?
The Plans page is the current comparison for guest, registered, waitlist, and future paid access. A signed-in user's account also shows the active plan, today's usage, remaining allowance, and reset time.
04
Accounts & history
What do I get with a free account?
A free account raises the shared daily limit from 5 to 25 runs and provides account usage pages. It also stores compact, safe versions of supported results for 7 days; uploaded files, binary output, secrets, and oversized result data are omitted.
Where can I view usage and saved results?
Open Account, then Usage for recent runs or Results for saved result payloads that have not expired. A usage record can remain after its saved result expires because the service keeps operational metadata separately from result content.
Can I use SmartPlusLab without signing in?
Yes. Guest access currently includes 5 shared runs per day, but it does not provide account history or saved results. The service uses a signed anonymous identifier to enforce the guest allowance.
I cannot sign in. What should I do?
Check the email address and password, then use password reset if needed. If you registered by email, complete email verification; you can also use Google sign-in when it is enabled for the site.
How can I manage or delete my account?
The account area shows usage, results, subscription status, and active sessions; Security lets you revoke other sessions. Self-service deletion is not available yet, so send an account-deletion request to support@smartpluslab.com from the account email address.
05
Plans & billing
Is SmartPlusLab free, and are paid plans available?
Guest and registered access are free. Starter, Plus, and Pro are planned higher-capacity subscriptions, but checkout is not currently open, so you cannot purchase them yet.
What are Starter, Plus, and Pro, and when will they launch?
They are preview tiers for higher shared limits, larger files, batch processing, longer history, and other entitlements. The current launch target and waitlist terms are shown on Plans and may change before checkout opens.
Is API access included in website plans?
No. The planned API is a separate product with its own keys, usage limits, operating terms, and pricing. Website subscriptions do not imply API access.
Can I get more free capacity before billing opens?
Yes. A registered user who joins the billing waitlist currently receives 50 runs per day and 30 days of supported result history until paid plans launch, plus the published launch discount.
Can I request a custom plan or higher-volume solution?
Yes. If the public plans or future API do not match your volume, data flow, or integration needs, submit a Custom Solutions request. Scope, security, delivery, and pricing are agreed separately.
06
API
Does SmartPlusLab provide an API now?
A public self-service API is planned but is not available yet. Public documentation, API keys, and API checkout will be released only when the API service is ready.
What can the SmartPlusLab API be used for?
The planned API is intended for selected tool operations inside products, internal systems, scheduled workflows, and repeatable processing where opening each web page manually is impractical.
Will API pricing and limits be separate?
Yes. API access will have separate usage limits, operating terms, and pricing from website plans. Exact methods and limits will be published with the API documentation.
Can I automate batch processing or connect an existing system?
That is a planned API use case, but support will depend on the specific tool, input size, throughput, and system requirements. A custom integration can be assessed before the public API launches.
How do I request API access or an integration?
Use the API request form and describe the data source, operation, expected output, approximate daily volume, and target system. Do not include credentials, access tokens, or confidential datasets in the first request.
07
Custom Solutions
Can SmartPlusLab build a custom tool or AI service?
Yes. SmartPlusLab can assess a purpose-built web tool, AI-assisted service, integration, or automation for a defined business outcome. Technology is chosen after the result and constraints are understood; not every task needs AI.
Do you build integrations and business-process automation?
Yes. A project can connect websites, APIs, CRM systems, spreadsheets, content workflows, or recurring operations, with validation and clear failure handling included in the scope.
Can you build a private tool or adapt an existing one for higher volumes?
Yes, after reviewing users, access controls, data sensitivity, expected throughput, and operating requirements. A private deployment or higher-volume version is not automatically included in the public service.
What should I include in a project request?
Describe the current workflow, input data, desired output, users, approximate volume, integrations, deadline, and success criteria. Start with anonymized examples and never send passwords or production secrets.
How do I request a custom solution?
Submit the form on Custom Solutions. The request starts a discussion only; work begins after both sides agree on scope, deliverables, timing, data requirements, and price.

Troubleshooting
A tool is not working. What should I check first?
Verify every required input, the accepted format, file size, and tool-specific restrictions. Refresh the page and try again in a current version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge.
Why can't I upload my file or use its format?
The file may exceed your plan allowance, fail the tool's format validation, contain invalid data, or exceed a dimension or complexity safeguard. The tool page and error message identify the accepted input and applicable limit when possible.
Why did processing fail or the download not start?
Processing can fail when the input is malformed, the requested operation is unsupported, a network-dependent check cannot reach its target, or a runtime safeguard stops the task. If the result succeeded but no download opened, allow downloads for the site and try the result button again.
Can the browser, extensions, or network cause a problem?
Yes. Outdated browsers, content blockers, privacy extensions, corporate filters, and unstable networks can block scripts or server requests. Refresh first, temporarily disable only the extension affecting the page, or test another supported browser or network.
How do I report a problem or a wrong limit message?
Send support@smartpluslab.com the tool URL, locale, approximate time, browser and operating system, the visible error, and safe steps to reproduce it. Do not attach confidential source files; use a minimal anonymized sample if one is needed.
