Once the process finishes, you receive the modified PDF document along with exact metrics: original file size in bytes, compressed file size in bytes, total page count, and the calculated size reduction percentage rounded to one decimal place. This helps prepare large documents for email attachments, web uploads, or archival storage without removing pages. Documents that already contain pre-compressed images or pure vector text may experience negligible reduction, and in rare cases the byte count may remain similar. If an unreadable or corrupt file is submitted, the tool reports an error so you can provide a valid PDF file instead.
